MSSNY will review Consumer Operated and Oriented Plans as a potential option for health insurance in the State of New York. MSSNY will request that the AMA study options to improve the performance of Consumer Operated and Oriented Plans as a potential public option to improve competition in the health insurance marketplace and improve the value of healthcare to patients.
