165.957            Re-credentialing of Physicians in Merged Managed Care Organizations:

The Medical Society of the State of New York will seek to assure, through whatever means appropriate, that when a contract between a managed care organization and credentialed physicians is transferred, merged or consolidated into another organization, the cost associated with re-credentialing of already credentialed participating physicians be borne by the new entity.
