175.974: Short Acting Opioid Preauthorization
MSSNY will seek immediate action by New York State Medicaid to cease and desist from requiring a prior authorization on all short acting opioid pain medications for persons who have been on them for 120 days or longer, and to require at least 90 days’ notice of the enforcement of any such change in prior authorization requirements to allow for public comment and discussion.
