195.906 Medicare “Dis” Advantage
The Medical Society of the State of New York work with the American Medical Association to urge that CMS continue to investigate and prevent misleading information in the marketing of Medicare Advantage plans; and that the Medical Society of the State of New York work with the American Medical Association to urge that CMS and other relevant federal agencies investigate “shared savings” programs used by Medicare Advantage plans to determine if such programs create inappropriate incentives that result in reduced necessary testing, services, and medications for Medicare enrollees, or whether such MA plans are engaging in other impermissible or illegal activities.
