200.977 Full Involvement of Women Physicians in MSSNY Leadership Roles
MSSNY will take immediate action to increase the number of women physicians at all levels of leadership.
MSSNY affirms its commitment to the full involvement of women in leadership roles throughout the organization, including, but not limited to, officers, councilors, trustees, NY Delegation to AMA, and committee chairs.
MSSNY encourages all component counties and districts to vigorously continue their efforts to recruit women members into organized medicine in New York State.
MSSNY shall develop an action plan for recruitment of women physicians to MSSNY, including process and outcome measures of improvement with a report back to MSSNY HOD 2024 and annually thereafter. (HOD 2023-205)
