210.998           Expunging Disciplinary Actions and Other Adverse Data from the National Practitioner Data Bank and State Databases:

MSSNY will support legislation requiring the National Practitioner Data Bank and state databases to expunge data relating to a physician five (5) years after the completion of any disciplinary penalty and five (5) years after any payment relating to a malpractice claim.  (HOD 1999-96; Reaffirmed HOD 2014; Reaffirmed HOD 2024)
