MSSNY partner with the New York State Department of Health to provide adequate guidance in defining masks acceptable for medical use in New York State. MSSNY supports and advocates for the creation of relevant literature and educational materials defining masks acceptable for medical use in New York State, and their subsequent distribution and availability in New York State public buildings, and electronically, and for educational purposes for law enforcement stakeholders.            (Council 11-21-24)
