265.823 Overpayment Recoveries on Historically Paid Services and the “Restatement of the Law of Restitution”
The Medical Society of the State of New York will work with its legal counsel to assess the validity of various legal principles to assist physicians in challenging health insurer payment recovery attempts, such as legal challenges based upon the principles of estoppel and restitution.
