265.890 Medical Certification Paperwork:
MSSNY will study the issue of physician reimbursement for medical certification forms and advise physicians as to the ethical and legal options available in regard to this increasingly unwieldy, time-consuming issue for physicians. Also, MSSNY is to address the issue of medical certification paper work with third party payers and strongly urge them to provide reimbursement to physicians for the service of providing medical certification and medical reports for patients.
