270.976 Protection of the Title, “Physician”
The Medical Society of the State of New York affirms its support of current New York State law protecting the title “physician” for the exclusive use of MDs and DOs, or their foreign equivalents (e.g. MBBS), and supports the imposition of penalties for those falsely asserting this title.
