70.920 Requiring Insurances to Apply Discounts
That the Medical Society of the State of New York advocate for legislation or other appropriate means to ensure that all payments made by patients for prescription medications outside of their insurance coverage (such as pharmaceutical discount programs) count towards that patient’s annual deductible and out of pocket maximum, and the New York delegation to the American Medical Association advance this resolution for consideration at the next Annual AMA Meeting.
