75.964 340B Regulations
The Medical Society of the State New York supports greater transparency of health care entities participating in the 340B Drug Discount Program including a publicly available report of covered entities’ 340B savings and the percentage of 340B savings used directly to care for underinsured patients and lower-income patients; and that the Medical Society of the State of New York work with the AMA to advocate for an alternative to the 340B program that ensures that discount medications are directed to underinsured and lower-income patient populations.
