195.931 Application of Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996
The Medical Society of New York will urge the American Medical Association to advocate for changes to the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996 so that CMS will be exempt from having to report to the Department of Treasury an outstanding debt arising from a Medicare/Medicaid overpayment when such original overpayment is $25 or less.
