130.943 Call for Action for Support of Continuation of CO-OP Applications
MSSNY will request the New York Congressional delegation to take appropriate action to restore necessary funding for new health insurance co-operatives, as had applied prior to enactment of the American Tax Relief Act of 2012, which eliminated this funding; and will urge the American Medical Association to work with the National Alliance of State Health Co-Ops (NASHCO) to request the US Congress and US Department of Health and Human Services to re-establish such funding as well.
