87.988 Interfacility EMS Transport
The Medical Society of the State of New York urge the state to assist local healthcare networks in developing transfer services protocols and interhospital transfer agreements for transfers of stroke, cardiac or other catastrophically urgent conditions to achieve interhospital transfer times from the initiation of transfer to arrival at the accepting facility as close quickly as possible, and the Medical Society of the State of New York urge the state to provide funding for resources for the timely interfacility transfer of patients in rural parts of the state.
